Three Rivers Council is partnering with one non-profit member each quarter. This quarter we are learning about and collecting donations for the Florida Theatre. In lieu of selling 50/50 tickets, we will support the Florida Theatre by donating a portion of the registration fee per meeting. If you would like to make an additional donation, you can do so when you register for this event
The Florida Theatre is a historic non-profit theatre that opened in 1927 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. This 1900-seat theatre offers approximately 175 performances every year, bringing 175,000 patrons to downtown Jacksonville, including over 30,000 children through their Theatreworks program. Offering a diverse schedule, the Florida Theatre programs for all of northeast Florida and ranked 39th in the world for attendance in 2023, according to Pollstar magazine.
