JAX Chamber Business Programs

JAX Bridges Entrepreneurship Program

A program with more than 2,500 alumni, JAX Bridges is a simulation that educates and connects entrepreneurs, using unique learning strategies, entrepreneurial tools, and corporate relationships to deliver real results. 

Jacksonville Women’s Business Center

Partially funded through the Small Business Administration (SBA), the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center (JWBC) supports women business owners and leaders, new and established, with mentoring, education, entrepreneurial development, resources, and dynamic networking that ignites the enterprising spirit. 

JAX Chamber Open Innovation Center

Our Open Innovation Center is an experiential program that leverages the JAX Chamber’s relationships to work with core members of local industries, identifying real-world challenges and opening them to a crowd of innovators for solutions.

Chamber Councils

The Chamber Councils have served the Jacksonville area for more than 50 years. Each Council runs its own programs and activities to improve the business and civic climate of its industry or geographic area, connecting members with shared interests through regular small business networking events.

Small Business Leader of the Year

Each year, the JAX Chamber recognizes the entrepreneurial spirit of Jacksonville’s small businesses with the Small Business Leader of the Year (SBLY) Award. The Council nominates one member to represent them at the JAX Chamber’s Annual Breakfast and to compete for the overall SBLY title.

Want to Nominate Someone? 

A nominee must:

  • Be a member of the JAX Chamber in good standing
  • Be an owner, partner, or shareholder of at least 25% of the business
  • Be active in the daily management of the business
  • Be established locally in the same business for at least three years
  • Demonstrate professional business acumen and leadership
  • Have gross revenues of less than $5 million per year for the previous three years
