Beaches Membership Committee

Chair: Virginie Mascia, SNI Companies

Objective: To grow Beaches membership and improve retention, plan member recruitment activities, and to serve as ambassadors at events and ribbon cuttings.

Beaches Community Involvement Committee

Chair: Jenny Castro, First Citizens Bank

Objective: To provide the members of the Beaches Division with quarterly opportunities to give back to the community, while building stronger relationships and raising awareness of the Beaches Division.


Beaches Public Policy

Chair: Denise Wallace, BMC Services

Objective: To encourage economic growth and improved quality of life in the coastal communities by educating business members about city plans and pending legislation, representing the voice of business to elected officials, and engaging involved parties in open discussion when issues impact the business community.

Endless Summer Beach Bash

An exciting evening of oceanfront networking with tastings from area restaurants, live entertainment, a silent auction, and bar.

Each year the JAX Chamber salutes the entrepreneurial spirit of Jacksonville’s small businesses with the Small Business Leader of the Year (SBLY) Award. This Council nominates one of their members to represent them at the JAX Chamber’s Annual Breakfast and to compete as the #1 SBLY overall.

Want to nominate someone?

A nominee must:

  • Be a member of the JAX Chamber in good standing
  • Be an owner, partner or shareholder of at least 25 percent of the business
  • Be active in the day-to-day management of the company
  • Be established locally in the same business for at least three years
  • Demonstrate professional business acumen and leadership
  • Have gross revenues of less than 5 million dollars per year for the previous three years
