2026 Small Business Leaders of the Year
Each year, the JAX Chamber Councils select a Small Business Leader of the Year (SBLY) for their council. From these selections, an overall Small Business Leader of the Year is chosen. This year, Heather Waisanen, Founder/CEO of Coastal Maverick is representing the South Council. The overall SBLY for 2026 is Darrin Eakins, Founder & CEO of DuBlase Whiskey.

Travel has always been more than just a vacation to me. I love helping people create meaningful experiences and making the planning process feel simple and stress-free. Through Platinum Travel, I work closely with clients to design personalized trips, from relaxing getaways and family vacations to river cruises and once-in-a-lifetime adventures. My goal is to make travel feel seamless, enjoyable, and thoughtfully tailored to each traveler.

50/50 raffle tickets can be purchased on-line or in person. Half of the money goes to support council business members through the Grant Fund. The other half is given to a lucky recipient of the day. 10 tickets for $5.
Please note: pre-registration is advised as walk-up fee for everyone is $40 and seating is not guaranteed.
