JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (April 17, 2018) — JAXBIZ, the nonpartisan political organization affiliated with JAX Chamber, has endorsed Republican Wyman Duggan in the open District 15 seat in the Florida House of Representatives.

Duggan, a land use attorney who has been instrumental in many significant economic development projects, is committed to public service in Jacksonville. A fifth-generation Floridian, Duggan is a former chair of the Jacksonville Charter Revision Commission.

“Wyman is an experienced, conservative leader who can make an immediate impact for our community in Tallahassee,” JAXBIZ Chair Dane Grey said. “Wyman understands the importance of growing jobs for hard-working families and attracting investment in our community.”

Duggan is a graduate of the U.S. Marine Corps Officer Candidates School and earned his law degree from the College of William and Mary.

JAXBIZ supports and helps elect candidates committed to advancing business-friendly policies that encourage economic growth.

District 15 encompasses Jacksonville’s Westside, including neighborhoods in Riverside, Avondale and Ortega. The primary election is in August.
